About the Client
Coffee Is Our Religion is a specialty coffee and cacao brand based in Lincoln, Nebraska. They source direct-trade beans from Colombian farms and sell handmade accessories crafted by Colombian women artisans. Their whole philosophy is that coffee is a ritual, not a commodity, and that craft runs through everything they make.
The Challenge
Their original website was built by someone else, and it simply did not work. The online store was broken, checkout was unreliable, and selling was a constant source of stress instead of income. The setup also left them unsure whether sales were being handled and taxed correctly in the US. They did not need a fresh coat of paint. They needed the whole thing rebuilt properly.

Custom brand-led design that leads with their story, the direct-trade sourcing, the artisans, and the ritual, so the experience feels as considered as the coffee.

Fast, mobile-first build in React and TanStack so the site loads quickly and feels effortless on any device.
The Results
The owner now sells stress-free, with a store that works and her US sales tax handled correctly. The brand finally looks as warm and intentional online as the coffee in the cup, and selling went from a weekly headache to something that just works.
