When I was approached with the challenge of building an entire eCommerce experience in just 10 hours, I knew it had to be fast, clean, and effective. The goal was to create a Game Boy-focused store that felt nostalgic yet modern, simple yet engaging. This is how Project Felix came to life—a digital storefront dedicated to retro gaming enthusiasts looking for modded consoles, rare cartridges, and accessories.

I started by defining the essential pages and structure:

Product Details Page: High-quality images, detailed descriptions, and purchase options.

About Page: Storytelling to connect with the audience.

FAQ & Contact Pages: Addressing common concerns and providing support.

2. Designing for a Retro Feel

Since this was all about nostalgia, I leaned into:

Typography: Bold, pixel-like yet modern fonts.

Colors: Classic Game Boy hues—off-white, gray, and iconic orange highlights.

UI Elements: Clean buttons, subtle textures, and an intuitive grid layout.

Framer allowed for rapid development while ensuring pixel-perfect alignment. Features included:
