ArchiveX Portfolio Template Design

The ArchiveX portfolio template was designed for creatives who prefer a clean and minimal style. The concept focuses on presenting work in a bold, uncluttered layout that fits neatly within the screen, reducing the need for unnecessary scrolling. The goal was to create a portfolio experience that feels calm, focused, and easy to navigate, allowing projects to speak for themselves without distractions. This template was built for the Webflow Marketplace and stands out for its simple structure, unique layout approach, and flexibility for designers, photographers, and studios looking to showcase their work with clarity.

The design phase started in Figma, where the layout was planned with a strong emphasis on spacing, balance, and minimalist composition. Every section was intentionally kept light to maintain an airy visual flow. After finalising the layout, the build was developed in Webflow, making use of its powerful layout tools and flexible CMS structure. Subtle interactions were added to support the minimalist feel—smooth fades, light scaling, and gentle hover effects—to enhance the viewing experience without overwhelming the user.

As a template intended for a wide range of creative users, it was important to maintain a high standard of consistency and usability. The build followed best practices, including clear class naming, fast-loading images, and a strong SEO structure. Since minimalism relies heavily on precision, extra care was taken with alignment, grid spacing, and responsiveness across breakpoints. The template also includes straightforward documentation, making it easy for users to customise the styling, replace images, or adapt the structure to different types of portfolios.

The final result is a refined, modern portfolio template that highlights creative work in a simple and visually engaging way. ArchiveX gives users a clean foundation that is easy to personalise while keeping their projects front and centre. It is designed to help creatives present their work confidently, with a layout that feels fresh, balanced, and timeless.
