Managed the process to publish Collaborative Intelligence Mural
I served as project leader while the Senior Director, Brand & Communications at Mural. I was the editorial lead, thought partner, and researcher, working with the primary writer, a book project management team, and a design agency.
In addition to the easy part — i.e. the content (words) — the book required professional layouts and book publication know-how. So I selected and managed two external teams, one to provide guidance and expertise to ready our manuscript for Wiley and the other to develop print-ready layouts and illustrations.
This was not a short project, taking 18+ months and requiring working closely with key stakeholders at the company (including the co-authors), and doing a great deal of research on the topic of the book itself.
