InvestMinds set out to create a platform that provides users with seamless access to global stock markets, valued at over $50 trillion USD. The challenge was to design a solution that catered to both new and experienced investors, offering real-time insights, a risk-free paper trading environment, and a streamlined investment process.

The design process for InvestMinds was centered on user experience, focusing on accessibility, usability, and engagement. The goal was to ensure that users felt empowered to make informed decisions, whether they were new to investing or seasoned traders.

Research & Discovery The design process began with extensive user research. We conducted interviews with potential users, including both beginners and experienced investors, to understand their pain points and needs. This research uncovered common challenges such as difficulty in understanding stock performance data, lack of confidence in making investment decisions, and the desire for a risk-free environment to test strategies. We also analyzed competitor platforms to identify gaps in the market. This allowed us to map out key features that would differentiate InvestMinds, focusing on simplicity, accessibility, and innovation.

Ideation & Wireframing Based on our research, we created user personas and journey maps to visualize how different users would interact with the platform. From there, we began ideating potential solutions, emphasizing a clean and intuitive user interface. Low-fidelity wireframes were created to outline the core features and structure, with a focus on providing users easy access to essential information.

Development & Handoff After finalizing the designs, we collaborated closely with developers to ensure a smooth transition from design to development. Detailed design documentation and interactive prototypes were provided to the development team, ensuring consistency in implementing user interfaces and interactions. We also conducted regular design reviews during development to ensure the platform stayed true to the user-centered vision.
