Hatch Law is a Los Angeles-based intellectual property and patent law firm. The firm has an outdated brand identity and site. As they look to expand and grow, a new identity and website becomes a necessity.

The client wanted a modern and professional website with a touch of personality but remain simple in structure.

Upon studying competitors and clarifying the client’s objective, a new visual identity and web design is born.

A animated outlined letter “HATCH” is used throughout hero headers in the site as a subtle texture that brings out the personality of the site.

The letter H is used as a frame for photos, The letter L, which is the initial for “law”, is used as a decorative design element and framing mechanism throughout the site.

The website design used a bright, purplish electric blue color as the primary color, with yellow, green and light purple as secondary colors.
