Vasco - Bitcoin

Company introduction: Bitcoin is a digital currency (cryptocurrency) created in January 2009 following the housing market crash. It follows the ideas set out in a whitepaper by the mysterious and pseudonymous Satoshi Nakamoto. It is a decentralized digital currency without a central bank or single administrator that can be sent from user to user on the peer-to-peer bitcoin network without the need for intermediaries. They can be exchanged for other currencies, products, and services.

Non-Technical View of the project: A bitcoin casino is an online arena for gambling, gaming, and lotteries that deals primarily in the bitcoin cryptocurrency. While illegal in the U.S., bitcoin casinos are popular due to the anonymity aspect, plus the pull of online game variations with often zero transaction fees and unlimited free daily transactions. We worked on the games.bitcoin.com and cashgames.bitcoin.com for adding new features and maintaining old ones, implementing an application again with the new architecture.

Technical View of the Project: Working on maintaining and adding new features into web casino applications(games.bitcoin.com, cash games.bitcoin.comImprove the code quality of both applications work on re-implementation of the whole application with a new architecture of the application, that includes the new micro-services for applications Implemented microservices for game engines, deposit/withdrawal service Implemented 3rd party APIs to the application as well as Created a web-based casino game for the web casino application.
