To create a safer platform, we must develop a female-inclusive space that EDUCATES the gaming community on the importance of respect, acceptance and inclusivity. Girlforce aims to change the conversation by making girls feel united and respected through the power of online gaming. This platform not only enables girls to compete in Esports, but also ELIMINATES the common struggles that come with being in the space. It is important to REDEFINE the meaning of a female gamer and promote a positive representation that moves forward from this specific stereotype.

A classic girly colour story (e.g. pink and purple) has been applied to the logo, customised typography, and overall interface to resonate with a female demographic.

Using my expertise in character development, I have illustrated a mascot on procreate that aims to spread educational awareness on the key messages conveyed in the community guidelines. This approach adds an element of engagement and relatability, ultimately inspiring young girls to thrive in the gaming world.

Existing streaming platforms use complex layouts which poses difficulties for new users who are attempting to navigate the website. For this reason, I have adopted a simple yet futuristic design to enhance user engagement and simplify the streaming experience for aspiring female content creators in the gaming space.
