Single Cover

A sleek cover that highlights the main artist, while giving. Because the song is a "love letter to a lover", the artists names are displayed in a hand-written text, similar to one you would write as a signature to said-letter. The cover draws inspiration from magazine covers, to further drive the fashion-forward ethos of the artists who perform the song.

Release Strategy

The release strategy for this song's release was all about creating anticipation and feeding the audience stunning visual art.
Photography: The goal of photography was to showcase each artist's individuality; the design system was built around imagery.
Social Media Posts: Create a 10-Day countdown to increase anticipation, featuring a link where fans can watch a preview of the music video.
Events: There was a Release Party that was designed to bring the digital experience to real life. The actual recording process itself was treated like an event,
📌 With colorful imagery, a music video preview, and engaging social media posts, the audience was fully prepared to consume the art on release day. The design language was consistent throughout, utilizing the same fonts, colors, etc to create a seamless design system across all marketing.

The Making of "Gentleman"

From writing the song, recording it, and making the music video, the entire process was documented and its content incorporated in the promotional materials. It was important to the artist to provide the audience more Behind The Scenes (BTS) look into the process of creating the song, the musical inspiration, and the music video as well.

The Countdown

A 10-Day countdown leading up to the release of the song; the countdown aimed to showcase the individual style of both artists, in an effort to pique the interest of the audience and increase anticipation: how would these two different artist blend on one song?
