Emma and Jack Thompson, the visionary founders of Velvet, began their journey with a shared passion for ice cream and a deep appreciation for nostalgic flavors. Emma, a former pastry chef with a flair for classic desserts, and Jack, a culinary artist with a background in artisanal food crafting, combined their expertise to create something truly special.

The idea for Velvet was born during one of their cozy kitchen experiments, where they sought to capture the essence of the golden era of ice cream. They envisioned a brand that would blend the comforting flavors of yesteryear with the artistry of modern culinary techniques. Working on Velvet's brand identity was so nostalgic and retro, took me back to my childhood and made me crave a lot more ice cream throughout than usual!
