Prom Queen is a menstrual product brand based on Stephen King's Carrie White.

Carrie white is a social outcast. People at school and around town call her “Scary Carrie." Her father died when she was very young, so she grew up with her devout Christian mother. When Carrie gets emotional, strange things happen. Light bulbs burst, doors fly off the hinges, or things get thrown at people from seemingly no where. This does not help Carrie’s popularity, she’s a freak.

Getting her first menstrual cycle is a catalyst to her story, as it is a traumatic event. The brand Prom Queen is here to help people through the traumatic event, and help embrace the strange.
