Soaking

Soaking
I am jealous of women with bathtubs
Soaking in wine and Plath
Bubbles up to their breasts, they relax
I am jealous of lukewarm water
Tears mixing in like a cauldron
Secrets hidden down a swirling drain
I am jealous of the hours spent
How I waste ten minutes stuck in shower thoughts
Yet an hour in the Jacuzzi wouldn't be enough
I am jealous of women with bathtubs
Lying like corpses, cleansed of their sins
Bubbles beneath their resting heads deep in the void
