What are the Moonshot Pirates?
Mooshot Pirates are a movement that develops young people between 15 and 20 to think big, learn, and act toward a better future. By leveraging technology, content, mentorship, and community, we equip young innovators to create solutions to real-world problems.
Challenge
Moonshot Pirates currently only have a website, which limits their ability to fully engage users and support their innovative learning and mentorship programs. There is a need for a dedicated mobile app to facilitate independent learning and peer-group mentorship.
Goal
To facilitate independent learning and professional growth by connecting mentees with experienced mentors beyond the limitations of traditional bootcamp structures, while:
Fostering collaboration
Peer-group learning
Incorporating gamification elements
