Background Information 📘

Avitane, a spa and salon center with multiple locations across the UAE, aims to digitize its booking process. They plan to launch a web app that allows users to easily book services and memberships. Additionally, an internal system will be developed for employees to track payments and manage memberships efficiently.

The Problem 📌

There was nearly a year gap between finishing the Avitane web app designs and starting development due to complications.
Changes were needed to sync the booking flow with the e-commerce module.
Developers faced technical challenges implementing the original design.
There were differences in the booking flow because the desktop version, though suitable for desktop, wasn't mobile-friendly.

Managing the Situation 🤺

We saw an opportunity to enhance the booking flow while the developers were busy implementing other user stories.

Enhance and sync the booking flow across desktop and mobile for a user-friendly experience, addressing technical challenges and necessary changes.
