Leading Stagent: Transforming artist booking management

In 2019, I founded Stagent, an innovative all-in-one solution designed to streamline the management of artists’ bookings. Stagent caters to both independent artists managing their own bookings and agencies handling bookings for multiple artists. Our platform encompasses every aspect of the booking process, from initial deal negotiations to final payments. This includes handling contracts, invoicing, payments, advancing, and itineraries, with the added convenience of a mobile app for on-the-go management.

What sets Stagent apart from its competition is our ability to manage multiple bookings within a single event. This unique feature allows users to consolidate all bookings into one contract and one invoice, significantly reducing administrative overhead and simplifying financial management. This capability is particularly beneficial for booking agencies that handle numerous artists and events, streamlining their workflow and improving efficiency.

Stagent’s comprehensive feature set includes automated contract generation, seamless invoicing, and real-time payment tracking. The platform also supports advancing, ensuring that all logistical details are handled efficiently. Stagent is built on the Laravel framework, utilizing the TALL stack (Tailwind CSS, Alpine.js, Laravel, and Livewire). This modern tech stack enables us to deliver a seamless and efficient user experience, ensuring our platform is both robust and user-friendly. The TALL stack allows for rapid development and iteration, helping us stay ahead in the competitive landscape of artist management software. Our use of Laravel ensures a solid backend, while Tailwind CSS and Alpine.js provide a sleek, responsive frontend.

As the CEO of Stagent, I oversee the product team, guiding the development of new features and ensuring they align with our initial roadmap. We employ the Shape Up method by Basecamp, a development approach that helps us manage projects efficiently, stay focused, and deliver high-quality updates. This methodology emphasizes clear goals, structured work cycles, and iterative progress, allowing us to continuously improve our platform. This structured approach ensures that every feature we develop is thoroughly tested and aligns with our users’ needs.
