From Concept to Creation: Crafting the Perfect Logo

Designing a logo for a client in the Permanent Makeup (PMU) industry required careful consideration and creativity. The client wanted something sleek, feminine, and round, steering clear of the typical detailed eye or eyebrow designs common in the industry. She was open to ideas, allowing me to explore various concepts.
Using the Allan Peters method of logo design, I ensured a thorough design and sketch process. This method emphasizes exploring every possible idea, leaving no design unthought of. For LWPMU, I first analyzed the common trends among PMU artists' logos, which often feature script fonts and detailed clip art of eyes and eyebrows.
With this knowledge, I began sketching. I sketched for days, letting ideas develop and evolve naturally. After letting the concepts breathe and revisiting them, I eventually landed on a simple, sleek eye shape with a universal-looking eyebrow. However, the client later requested a revision of the eyebrow shape to better fit her ideal.
The final logo embodies a clean and elegant aesthetic, aligning with the client’s vision for something unique in the PMU industry.
