Brand Identity: Oh, Boy!

An academic rebranding project for a Rio de Janeiro fashion label, evolving its visual codes to reflect a modern, urban, and plural contemporary woman while preserving its original "sun-kissed" heritage.

The Challenge

Aligned the brand's perception with its contemporary consumer. The goal was to develop a visual system that retains its affectionate, organic heritage while adding the structural attitude needed for a sophisticated fashion label.

The Concept

Built the new identity around the tension between two worlds—the organic beach and the urban concrete—using typographic punctuation as a conceptual anchor.
The Comma (Oh,): Represents a pause to breathe, the addition of multiple facets, and the organic flow of nature.
The Exclamation (Boy!): Symbolizes affirmation, independence, and the strength of the urban environment.

Art Direction & Typography

Constructed a logo that unites two contrasting typographic and chromatic universes into a single harmonic composition.
Selected CC Matinee Idol for the "Oh," bringing calligraphic fluidity and a human touch, contrasting sharply with Syne Bold for the "Boy!" which acts as a heavy, geometric urban anchor.
