FramerCommerce - Shopify Integration for Framer

The challenge: FramerCommerce lets Framer designers connect Shopify stores and use Framer as a headless storefront. When I joined, it was early - a set of React components that worked but needed a lot more to become a real product. The goal was to expand functionality, stabilize everything, and eventually ship it as a native Framer plugin.

Collaborated directly with founder Matt and the other engineers throughout the project

Built new features and components for the core product

Expanded functionality to support recurring subscriptions

Fixed bugs and handled user troubleshooting

Implemented the plugin UI from Figma designs

Helped ship the final Framer plugin from start to finish

The outcome:

FramerCommerce went from early-stage components to a fully functional Framer plugin used by designers & other companies such as Perplexity, Spotify and Framer, who want Shopify functionality without leaving Framer's design environment.
