As a web designer with a deep understanding of user experience and interface design, I embarked on a challenging yet exhilarating project: revamping EntryLevel's existing website. My tool of choice for this significant overhaul was Figma, known for its powerful capabilities in design, prototyping, and collaboration.
🧐 Initial Analysis and Strategy:
My journey began with an in-depth analysis of EntryLevel's current website. This critical evaluation was not just about aesthetics; it involved understanding their functional architecture, user interaction patterns, and overall user experience. Identifying areas for improvement, I outlined a strategy that would not only enhance the visual appeal but also streamline the user journey.
🧑🏻💻 Setting Up in Figma:
The practical work started in Figma. I initiated the project by establishing a comprehensive design system within the tool. This system was the cornerstone of the revamp, encompassing a unified set of design principles, color palettes, typography, and reusable UI components. It was vital for ensuring consistency across the revamped website.
✍🏻 Wireframing and Layout Design:
The next phase was wireframing. Here, I sketched out the revamped page layouts, focusing on optimizing the information architecture and the placement of various elements such as navigation bars, call-to-action buttons, and content sections. The goal was to enhance the site's navigability and user engagement.

With the wireframes as a guide, I delved into the UI design. Applying EntryLevel's branding, I meticulously chose color schemes and fonts that would elevate the aesthetic while maintaining brand identity. I paid special attention to micro-interactions and transitions, using Figma's prototyping features to create a more dynamic and engaging user experience.

To ensure the revamped design was user-centric, I conducted extensive usability testing within Figma. This involved creating interactive prototypes and gathering user feedback, which was invaluable in fine-tuning the UI elements and enhancing the overall user experience.

Upon completing the design, I prepared a comprehensive presentation for EntryLevel, showcasing the revamped website. This presentation detailed not only the visual enhancements but also the technical aspects, including the responsive design approach, accessibility considerations, and the custom interactive tool's integration.
This project was a testament to the transformative power of design and technology.
