This Apple Intelligence motion design went crazy viral on the internet and most of the glow effects were done using shaders. Its crazy how much you can do with just playing around with different design tools. And to top it all of, the animation's are done in After Effects.

Here’s my submission for the @paper (https://x.com/paper) x @contra (https://x.com/contra) challenge, it's a tool I built called Visual Poetry. I write poems and randomly associate them with things like flowers or butterflies. I built this little tool that lets me turn the words in the poems into pixels to literally draw out any object (inspired by typewriter and ASCII art). I used Pretext to render the text and Paper to tweak the whole UI, and used Cursor Agent to help me build it out. I was super close to the deadline and finally managed to finish it up just in time, phew!

Meet Brand Interpreter. For decades, brand identity existed in two irreconcilable forms: the static PDF a designer handed to a client, and the living codebase a developer actually built from. Between them sat hours of manual translation... colours re-entered, typefaces re-specified, rules re-explained. This work asked designers to be data-entry clerks. Brand Interpreter proposes a different relationship between document and canvas. A brand guidelines PDF is the designer's most complete creative statement, read by an AI agent that understands not just the colours and fonts on the page, but the rules governing their use, the errors hiding in their specification, and the personality encoded in the language surrounding them. From this reading, the agent constructs a living design system directly on a connected canvas: structured, editable, and ready to export as code. What the agent builds is the document's intent, distilled, but made operable. → Full process + copy-paste prompts: https://flower-cruiser-92b.notion.site/Brand-Interpreter-Claude-Code-Paper-MCP-345b0a5cd9188093886ae856182ebc34 Enjoy! Built with @claudeai + @paper_design for the Paper × Contra Hackathon.

2026 so far: deep in AI workflows and fresh designer tools: Framer, Paper, Unicorn Studio, Figma Make, Claude Code, and quietly exploring co-creating something bigger. Still too early to say much. But this I know for certain: what a year to be building as a designer!

Working on the brand identity of your own studio is overlooked. If you position yourself as a premium studio that delivers quick, unique, quality work, you have to look like it, sound like it, feel like it. That's why we made sure @MirabelAgency (https://x.com/MirabelAgency) has the look it deserves

I've been asked about our process behind delivering a unique, on-brand mascot, so here's how we did it for LearnWise (took 2-3 months): 1. Strategy session Product, brand values, audience, personality. You can't design a character until you know what it is and isn't. 2. x3 mascot variations + 1 BONUS one (overdelivering feels good) Based on the strategy, three distinct directions, each a different answer to the same brief: confident, trustable, a little playful, not childish or corporate. 3. Refinement We picked the strongest direction and refined it down to a single character that scaled cleanly across every context. 4. x7 expressions We built the mascot into 7 unique expressions: thinking, encouraging, celebrating, explaining, etc., so it works seamlessly across the website, the product UI, and marketing. 5. Asset elivery & style guide A single-page usage guide so the team can drop the mascot in correctly anywhere, on any background. Today it's live, and I'm incredibly proud of how it turned out
