Proud to share my submission for the #ConfigMakeathon 🦋 Every designer knows the feeling: you finally nail the logo — and then comes the part nobody talks about. Building the bento board. Mocking it up on a t-shirt. Laying out the colors and the type. Re-rendering it for the client, for Instagram, for Dribbble. Hours of manual work in Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects… just to present work that was already done. So instead of inventing a problem to solve, I built the tool I kept wishing existed. Meet Reveal — it turns a logo into a complete, animated brand presentation in minutes. I went looking for ideas, but I didn't want to build a random app. I wanted to solve a problem I actually struggle with — presenting a brand to a client, posting it to social, dropping it on Dribbble. This is a platform full of designers, and almost every one of us loses an evening to mockup files and motion software just to make a reveal. Reveal makes that part instant — so you can spend your time on the design, not the slideshow. Three steps, one flow: 🎯 Drop your logo — primary, icon, monochrome, wordmark. Reveal pulls your colors, suggests a full palette, and lets you set type, backgrounds and assets. 🧩 See it in the real world — an editable business-card builder plus real-photo mockups (tee, card, watch, app icon) that apply your brand automatically. No smart objects, no manual placement. 🎬 Generate the reveal — animated bento boards you can fully edit: swap cells, choose per-cell animations, tune spacing and roundness. Change the aspect ratio and the grid re-composes itself for vertical, square or wide. Export to image or video, 1K–4K, looping or not — ready for the deck and the feed. The craft mattered as much as the function. I designed the whole product to feel modern and calm, built it with Figma Make, and made it fully responsive so it works on any device. Happy to share the Figma file too. This is the kind of work I love — where design isn't decoration, it's the solution itself, and the tool is its own proof. 🎥 3-min walkthrough: (Uploaded) 🔗 Live app: https://reveal-2ysb1af4s-saids-projects-63fc49d6.vercel.app/ 📂 Figma file / Community: https://www.figma.com/community/file/1649668352531031168/reveal-app-wireframes Built with Figma · Figma Make #ConfigMakeathon #Figma #UXDesign #ProductDesign #BrandIdentity #DesignTools @Figma @Contra

Another work in progress — a landing page for the Butterfly project. The task: Explain the Butterfly gesture and why people should care — fast, clear, and emotionally impactful. The twist: The client loves Apple-style minimalism, so I leaned into a clean, focused direction… but this time built using vibe coding with Claude Opus. Honestly, it’s wild how fast you can go from idea → structure → polished UI now. This took me almost a day, including concept, layout, and iteration. Feels like we’re entering a phase where designers can move at 10x speed, but the real question is: Can we keep the taste and clarity at the same level? Curious how others are balancing speed vs. craft right now.

Currently building an iOS app called Makely — a project organizer for turning video inspiration into actionable plans. The core idea: You find a renovation or DIY video (even without a proper description), share it to Makely, and the app uses AI to break it down into: • materials (with estimated cost) • tools required • step-by-step phases So instead of just saving content, you can actually execute the project. Design-wise, I’m exploring a more playful, character-driven system combined with bold colors and simple UI flows — aiming to make something that feels approachable but still structured and useful. Would love feedback from designers on: • overall visual direction (too playful vs. balanced?) • clarity of onboarding flow • how the illustrations work within a product UI Trying to refine this before App Store launch.

My core AI workflow for SaaS explainers and product demos has settled into a few reliable layers, each with clear tradeoffs: Veo 3 — my go-to for cinematic B-roll and concept shots. The realism and motion coherence are unmatched right now, but it's slower to iterate and prompt adherence can be hit-or-miss on complex scenes, so I budget extra generations. Runway — great for stylized transitions, abstract visuals, and quick experiments. Faster turnaround than Veo 3, but consistency across multiple shots in the same video is still tricky. HeyGen — my pick for avatar-led explainer segments (talking head intros, testimonials). Lip-sync quality is strong, though avatar movement can feel slightly stiff over longer takes. ElevenLabs — handles all voiceover. Multilingual support has been a game-changer for client work outside English. CapCut + After Effects/Premiere — where everything gets stitched, color-matched, and polished. AI tools generate raw material; the edit is where it becomes a coherent story. The biggest lesson: no single tool covers the full pipeline. The real skill now is knowing which tool to reach for at which stage — and being fast enough at stitching it all together that clients don't see the seams. What's everyone else leaning on for consistency across shots? That's still my biggest pain point. #creativeaiflow

A fintech founder had a great product. A terrible video. And a homepage that was quietly killing conversions. 60 seconds. New script. Clean animation. Right story. Their response when they saw it: "This is exactly how we've been trying to explain it for two years." That's the job. Building a SaaS product that deserves a better video? Let's talk.

IANAI — Launch Film This launch film was created for IANAI, an AI agent platform designed to automate operational workflows across different business systems. The video tells the story of how AI agents can quietly handle tasks behind the scenes before a team even starts their day. Through a cinematic narrative and motion graphics, the film follows a character interacting with business tools like ERP systems, email, and dashboards while AI agents execute predefined routines set by humans. My role in this project included: Motion graphics design Video editing Visual storytelling and pacing Creating a cinematic SaaS-style explainer flow The goal was to simplify a complex concept — how AI agents operate within business systems — and present it in a clear, engaging launch film that feels modern and product-focused.

Speculative ad brief for DefendUAS. Shifting the needle from basic product animation to high-stakes military storytelling. Visually contrasting a gritty, hyper-realistic urban terrain with sharp, tactical holographic wireframes to show exactly how a distributed mesh network reclaims the decision window. Using a scene-by-scene strategy in Melius, starting with a master script that fed into storyboards and hero keyframes for total visual continuity across the cinematic clips. This workflow allowed me to lock the moody tactical aesthetic before generating the final video scenes, deep-voice narration, and orchestral score. Everything is laid out from left to right, showing the journey from concept to final assets. The project screenshots/canvas video are in the comments.

This project involved a comprehensive archival reconstruction aimed at distilling the legacy of Harvey Mackay into a series of high-impact sizzle reels. The workflow required a deep immersion into a diverse repository of assets, including magazine prints, book covers, and raw footage reels, to identify the most resonant narrative moments. The technical approach balanced traditional restoration with cutting-edge synthesis: colour correcting legacy footage and applying an intentional analogue aesthetic, while strategically integrating VEO 3.1 and Grok Imagine to bridge visual gaps. By layering refined sound design and exploratory revisions across four distinct durations, the final deliverables translate a vast professional history into a modern, energetic visual identity that both informs and excites.

We documented an intimate ceremony at San Francisco City Hall, followed by a private reception. Our team consisted of two cinematographers and one photographer, providing full coverage without disrupting the day's flow. One cinematographer focused on stabilized wide frames and architectural movement, while the second captured close-ups, vows, and guest reactions. Our photographer worked alongside us to maintain a cohesive visual story across film and photo. Audio for vows and speeches was captured live. We relied primarily on natural light and intentional positioning within the space. Final deliverables included a cinematic highlight film, full ceremony edit, and vertical social cut.

ARKYVS produced one of the recap films for the SF Coffee Festival, a high-traffic consumer event featuring roasters, sponsors, live demos, and stage programming. The goal was to create a sponsor-ready recap that captured the scale and energy of the festival while clearly highlighting brand participation and attendee engagement. Our team executed multi-camera coverage across the venue, capturing vendor activations, product details, crowd reactions, and key programming. Stabilized movement shots navigated dense foot traffic, while telephoto coverage isolated meaningful brand interactions. Ambient audio was recorded to support immersion in post. In post-production, we built a rhythm-driven edit balancing scale with clarity. Deliverables included the primary recap film and short-form cuts for digital marketing and sponsor reporting.

I've long thought my creative process was too intangible to automate. Motion design involves a hundred small judgment calls per screen, many of which I wouldn't even know how to vocalize, let alone solve through software. Remotion caught my attention over the past few months, but having to prompt changes without being able to see and tweak my designs first felt like a non-starter for how I like to work. Once I started exploring what's possible with Paper, I began to change my mind. 💡 Building out my dream automated motion graphics workflow for the #PaperChallenge has been an awesome challenge. Using Claude Code, the Paper MCP, the Notion MCP, and Remotion, I created a custom set of skills that let me work with AI through the full process of identifying, designing, and animating key screens, while keeping the creative judgment that matters most to me in my own hands. There's so more to explore, and I’m excited to continue building workflows I only dreamed were possible a few years ago!
