Use this for the Wireless Alignment Helper project: Wireless Alignment Helper is a Windows desktop tool I built to make wireless link alignment faster and easier for field technicians and network engineers. The application connects to wireless devices using SNMP and displays live RX signal levels in real time. It can monitor multiple clients at once, graph their signal strength, calculate averages, and help identify the best possible antenna alignment while a technician is physically adjusting the link. I built it around a real networking workflow rather than as a demo project, so the interface focuses on quick device selection, live feedback, multiple-client visibility and practical signal monitoring. Key functionality includes: • Live SNMP signal polling • SNMP v1/v2c/v3 support • Local and remote RX monitoring • Multi-client signal tracking • Real-time signal charts • Minimum, maximum and average signal statistics • Wireless AP/client monitoring • Configurable OIDs • Saved device/configuration settings • Windows desktop interface This project combines my professional networking background with software development and demonstrates C#/.NET desktop development, SNMP integration, real-time data visualization and network automation.

Local Library — Self-Hosted Learning, PDF & AI Quiz Platform Short description A self-hosted local-network learning platform I built to organize books, PDFs and images, provide a full browser-based reading experience, and generate interactive study quizzes using local AI. “Tell us about this work” Use this: I built Local Library as a self-hosted learning and document platform designed to run entirely on a local network. The original goal was to make school books, worksheets and learning material easy to access from any device in the house without relying on cloud services. The project grew into a complete digital library and study environment. Users can browse categorized PDF collections, search books, read documents directly in the browser, add notes and bookmarks, organize images, run OCR on image collections and access content offline. I also integrated local AI through Ollama to create an interactive Quiz Studio. Quiz sets can be generated from individual books, entire subjects or custom groups of learning material. The system tracks study progress, weak questions, accuracy and daily learning goals. I especially like that last point: you didn't make a random demo for a portfolio. You had an actual problem in your home and built software to solve it. That's a strong story for freelance clients. It connects directly to MetaTrader 5 for live market data, combines that with news and economic-calendar context, and uses local AI through Ollama to generate market outlooks, key levels, sentiment and risk context without requiring paid AI APIs. The application also includes automated scheduling, multi-market scanning, Telegram delivery, MT5 symbol management, fallback market-data sources, configurable market profiles and a Windows desktop/tray interface. I designed it to turn several manual pre-market research steps into one repeatable automated workflow: collect data → analyse context → generate a market brief → deliver it automatically.
