Projects in WaterlooProjects in Waterlooπ₯ Excited to share the SJS Leo Universal Healthcare Design System, a project focused on creating a more accessible, connected, and patient-centered healthcare experience.
Healthcare platforms often require users to navigate multiple systems, providers, portals, and services. This project explores how a unified design system can simplify those interactions while maintaining accessibility, consistency, and scalability.
Features explored include:
β
Accessible UI Components
β
Patient & Caregiver Experiences
β
Provider & Administrative Workflows
β
Authentication & Security Flows
β
Resource Discovery & Navigation
β
Responsive Design Patterns
β
WCAG-Focused Accessibility Considerations
β
Scalable Design Tokens & Components
This project reflects my passion for accessibility, healthcare technology, and designing systems that work for everyoneβincluding individuals with disabilities, caregivers, providers, and support networks.
Healthcare should be easier to access, easier to understand, and easier to navigate.

#HealthcareUX #Accessibility #DesignSystems #Figma #ProductDesign #UXDesign #UIDesign #HealthcareTechnology #InclusiveDesign #SJSLeoUniversal π Officially sharing SJS Leo Universal Enterprise OS.
This project was designed as a centralized operating system concept for businesses, organizations, freelancers, and growing teams who need a better way to manage operations from a single platform.
The goal was simple:
Reduce complexity. Increase visibility. Improve decision-making.
Enterprise OS brings together multiple operational areas into one connected experience, including:
β
Business Operations Management
β
Team & Workforce Administration
β
Contract & Document Tracking
β
Tax & Compliance Management
β
Subscription & Service Oversight
β
Reporting & Analytics Dashboards
β
Resource Management
β
Accessibility-First Design Principles
β
Mobile & Desktop Workflows
What I enjoyed most about this project was thinking beyond individual screens and focusing on how an entire organization functions as a connected ecosystem.
This project was published through Figma Community as part of my ongoing work in enterprise software, accessibility, business systems, and digital product design.

As I continue building healthcare platforms, accessibility tools, and business software, Enterprise OS remains one of the projects that shaped how I think about scalable systems and user-centered operations.

What originally began as a project called Tiny Steps has evolved into something much larger.
As I continued building and testing, the concept expanded beyond early childhood milestones and became a family-centered platform designed to support children, caregivers, and families through many different life journeys.
SJS Leo Universal β Growing Together is designed to help families document memories, celebrate progress, connect with resources, coordinate care teams, and build a personalized journey that grows alongside each child.
Current areas of focus include:
πΈ Memory journals, photos, videos, stories, and family milestones
π€ Collaboration between caregivers, therapists, educators, support teams, and family members
π Location-based resources and support services that can adapt as families travel or relocate
βΏ Accessibility features including screen reader support, text-to-speech, biometric login, PIN security, large text options, and high-contrast modes
π± Personalized growth journeys that recognize every child develops differently
𧩠Support for families navigating disabilities, developmental differences, therapies, IEPs, chronic conditions, foster care, adoption, and long-term care planning
One of the most important goals of this project is moving away from rigid milestone expectations. Instead of comparing children against a checklist, the platform focuses on progress, memories, support, inclusion, and celebrating every achievement along the way.
Still actively refining the experience, but it's been exciting to watch this idea grow from Tiny Steps into a much broader vision for supporting families and children through every stage of life.
Built with the help of Figma Make, Figma Weave, and a lot of experimentation.

#SJSLeoUniversal βΏ Finding accessibility resources shouldn't be another barrier.
Meet AccessPath+ by SJS Leo Universal β a Figma Make prototype created for the #ConfigMakeathon to help people with disabilities, caregivers, and underserved communities quickly access the support and guidance they need.
Too often, accessibility information is scattered, outdated, or difficult to navigate during stressful situations. AccessPath+ brings essential resources, support tools, and user-centered guidance into one simple experience designed to reduce barriers, support independence, and make everyday life easier.
π₯ Watch the 30-second walkthrough below to see the problem it solves, the experience I designed, and how I used Figma Make to bring the idea to life.
