I help SaaS teams with explainer videos & product demos
3
I worked with a great SaaS client recently. They handed me a long feature list and said "explain all of this." Most teams start right there, and it is a trap. Try to show everything, and the viewer walks away remembering nothing. But as a creative who focuses on presenting the value that would convert, here is what I did instead. - start with the one pain point the customer actually feels - cut every feature that does not serve that story - lead with the outcome, not just the interface - keep the movement clean so the message stays loud A good explainer video is not about showing more. It is about making one thing impossible to misunderstand. Clarity beats completeness every single time. If your product is hard to explain in a sentence, that is the real problem worth solving first.

A quick truth about explainer videos: the animation is the easy part. The hard part is deciding what to leave out. SaaS products can do a hundred things. But an explainer that tries to show all hundred just overwhelms people and gets closed at the 10-second mark. My whole job is ruthless editing, finding the ONE story that makes a viewer understand why the product matters, and cutting everything that distracts from it. So when a client sends me a giant feature list, my first question isn't "how do I animate this?" It's "what's the one thing your customer needs to feel by the end?" Everything flows from that answer. Clarity beats completeness every single time. That's the principle behind every video I make.

Behind every clean SaaS explainer is a messy first draft. For my latest project, I started with a product that had a genuinely complex workflow the kind of thing that takes users three paragraphs to explain to a friend. My job was to turn that into 90 seconds that communicate with users and convert. Here's the process I lean on every time: understand the product deeply, write a script that leads with the user's problem (not the feature list), storyboard the key moments, then design and animate with real UI in mind so it feels like the product not a generic template. The result isn't just a "nice video." It's a first impression that makes people go "oh, I get it now." That moment is the whole point. If you're a SaaS team sitting on a product that's hard to explain, that's exactly the problem I love solving.

I CREATED A PRODUCT WITH A MORE HUMAN DESIGN USING @Envato #envatochallenge Instead of relying only on AI, I stepped outside to find inspiration in the real world. I explored different places, captured my own photographs, studied colors, textures, shapes, and details, then combined those real-life elements into a single product design. AI can generate images, but it can't replace the experience of discovering inspiration with your own eyes. Every photo I took became a piece of the final creation, making the product feel authentic, personal, and impossible to recreate through prompts alone. Envato Tools i used for creating this product: π₯ Gen Ai - ImageGen and Styles - ImageEdit - VideoGen and Preset - MusicGen - Mockup Gen π₯ Stock - Photo - Videos - Video templates - Luts - Music - Sound Effects - Fonts #HumanByDesign #CreativeProcess #Design #AI

Here is entry for contra x Squarespace challenge. I made a website called "Vellera" I was genuinely surprised by how smooth and intuitive it was to build a website with Squarespace. I expected to need custom code, but the platform made it easy to create a professional and interactive website using its built-in features. My community loved the overall experience, especially the clean design and smooth navigation. For this project, I used Block Animations and Block Transform to create engaging scroll effects, dynamic layouts, and interactive elements. These tools helped bring the design to life while keeping everything completely no-code. WE INTERVIEW AND INTRODUCE OUR PRODUCT TO REAL LOCAL BARBERSHOP BUSINESS. Yes! you read it right. We are confident with the product and show it to public. Introducing - "StyleFlow" powered with Ai and built in @Base44 I made an website where it will help the Hair salon/Barbershop for fast bookings or Drop in with also help of Ai. π PROBLEM: The problem i see there are no Rewards for loyal customers, Ai integration and in Drop-In customer have no idea how many are in queue. π§ IDEA: Keep the app simple and focused on what matters: Smooth for booking, Drop-ins, and showcasing the barbershop's services. When i go to barbershop i usually google what hairstyle i want so now in Styleflow you can do it before and the staffs will see details about the bookings/Drop-in (Upload images about the haircut) For DROP-IN customers, StyleFlow displays the current queue and provides real-time updates, so they know how many people are ahead of them and when it's their turn. Customer can do book DROP IN even they are at home/anywhere. ββββββββββββββββββββ π Automation: Reservations/Booking Email notifications Customer and owner support Daily report Find hairstyles Check bookings Ai business insights Customers receive email confirmations and appointment reminders. Zero experience in the UI design industry. But creativity, imagination, AI, and @Wonder made it possible. π₯ Introducing "TourMe" π§ The idea: A website for people who love to travel, explore, and discover different countries. π Problem: People often have to jump between multiple websites to find travel information about a country they want to visit. π Solution: A website with multiple features for different countries: β’ Weather β’ Currency β’ Best places to visit β’ Popular restaurants β’ Traditional foods β’ Hotels and places to stay β’ Activities β’ sim cards β’ and many more π― WORKFLOW: β’ Explained my idea in ChatGPT and generated a prompt β’ Used Wonder Chat to create UI concepts and website designs β’ Refined everything manually using Wonder's tools and AI features β’ Used Shader, Wonder Chat, Properties, and other tools β’ Used Figma templates as references β’ Explored different Wonder features and workflows β’ Generated images using Wonder Chat β’ Used Opus and Fable for generation π Others: β’ Uploaded webpage screenshots and used Wonder Chat to recreate similar layouts β’ Used Pinterest for inspiration and images π Wonder MCP: β’ Connected Wonder MCP with Claude β’ Claude helped create parts of the website β’ Used GitHub to publish the website TourMe Website: https://aymdaking.github.io/TourMe1122/ Wonder File (Check page 1 and Page 2): https://app.wonder.so/angelo-pacaanas/files/019f21e1-b614-7ae0-96ce-16e3fb4f1b80 π§ UNEXPECTED: β’ I didn't expect copying designs from Figma to Wonder to be so easy β’ There are many Shader modes to choose from β’ Prompt-to-UI worked even without UI design experience β’ Wonder MCP worked smoothly with Claude β’ Wonder Chat is more than a UI generatorβit also helps answer questions and guide ideas β’ Multiple image generation models are available (my favorite is Nano Banana) β’ Easy to move, edit, and rearrange elements β’ Lots of useful tools that are simple to learn and use
