I’m not a particularly mystical person, but sometimes that world crosses my path. Not long ago, I had the opportunity to take a Design class where we were challenged to create our own version of a Major Arcana Tarot card, choosing both the card and a design style to represent it. The Sun has always held a significant place in my life—not just as a concept, but as a tangible physical presence—so the choice was easy. From there, I had no doubt about choosing Art Deco as the primary style, as it evokes the same feeling in me that the Sun does: absolute passion. My final design was built from an illustration created in Illustrator and refined in AI: a stained-glass window that captures the light passing through it and radiates it back out into the world.

This is an Old But Gold Project :) I enjoy creating work in series. At some point in the past, I decided to create hand-lettered designs for some of my favorite types of wine. I started with simple hand-drawn sketches on paper and later developed them into vector graphics. Then, I created Art Deco-inspired posters for each of them. I also painted the grapes myself, using acrylic paint on canvas. This is one of them, let me know if you’d like to see the others :)

[New Project] I was walking through São Paulo when I spotted a newly opened bar called Cajá. The bar had no logo, no sign, nothing—but it did have one thing: a cheerful bird singing upstairs. That became the primary inspiration for this logo and the project's overall design. As this was a personal project, I had freedom to explore new possibilities, but I also faced the challenge of being my own client and finding myself in a position familiar to designers: never feeling that the work is truly finished.

Language can be a portal, where each word opens a passage to new worlds. Yet in the language school market, many brands still communicate in similar ways. With MEKHO, the goal was to move away from traditional academic imagery without losing credibility or structure. The challenge was to translate depth and authenticity into a consistent visual system for digital environments. The logotype features angular strokes to convey precision. The symbol combines stylized bat wings, representing guidance, with a form that suggests a coded sign, reinforcing language as a system to be deciphered. The palette builds authority through dark tones, while green acts as a calculated contrast, signaling sophistication and direction. The result is an identity that positions MEKHO as an immersive brand focused on real communication.

Alquimia do Sabor is a vegan confectionery brand that transforms plant-based ingredients into sensory experiences filled with care, consciousness, and meaning. More than sweets, the brand creates everyday potions, creations that awaken memory, affection, and presence.

This is the essence of the brand: a hybrid space that connects literature and botany as two forms of care. Here, books are not merely objects, they are seeds of possible worlds. And flowers are not just ornaments, they are gestures of affection, small breaths that soften the day.

NÓRIA is an artisanal fashion studio that brings together gesture, technique, and silence. Each piece emerges as a study of form: soft curves, natural textures, and a drape that follows the body’s own flow. The process is slow and intentional — stitching that respects time, fabric, and touch. The visual identity begins with the central symbol: four continuous loops inspired by the running stitch. It represents the movement of the thread, the repetition of the gesture, and the delicate precision of patternmaking. The neutral, mineral palette reflects the studio’s aesthetic: calm, tactile, organic. Fine, gentle typefaces support the brand’s editorial character. Graphic elements derived from the loop create visual rhythm, as if the motion of sewing extended across the entire system.

I developed the branding for DICEO — a German company built around the concept of transforming data into meaningful, actionable information. DICEO stands for Data and Information Cycle for Elevator Optimization, and the entire brand was designed to reflect this core idea: collecting, organizing, and cross-referencing data from elevators to generate smarter, more efficient solutions. The visual identity is rooted in this logic. The logo is constructed from two integrated data blocks, creating an intersection that forms the letter “D” — a direct representation of data connection and information flow. This geometric approach reinforces the idea of structure, precision, and intelligence behind the system.

Submission for #levelupwithbubble App Name: STUDYO Category: Education & Learning Live Link: https://gabrielcastrodias.bubbleapps.io/version-test The STUDYO prototype starts with a simple idea: what if learning worked more like thinking? Instead of linear formats, STUDYO organizes knowledge through connections. From a single topic, AI generates a structured mind map, revealing key concepts and their relationships. Each node opens layered content — from summaries to deeper explanations, supported by images, videos, and curated references. STUDYO also introduces a collaborative layer. Existing maps can be reused, expanded, and reorganized, allowing knowledge to grow over time through contributions. Flexibility is central. Users can reshape structures, move ideas, and define their own way of learning.

A personal art direction and graphic design study inspired by the football club Corinthians. Concept: “Cidade Cinza” The idea explores the symbolism behind black and white — the club’s iconic colors — blending into grey as a metaphor for unity. Just like a city where different stories, cultures, and people coexist, the project connects the team’s visual identity with the diversity of its supporters. Through bold typography, compositions, and the fusion of black and white elements, the visual language creates a “grey city” where differences merge into collective strength. This is a personal creative exploration of how graphic design and art direction can translate identity, city culture, and unity through the symbolism of color.

A personal branding study for a luxury resort concept called Botanique. This project explores a visual identity designed to express refinement, calm, and deep connection with nature. The concept positions Botanique as a destination where time slows down and relaxation becomes the central experience. The branding is built around elegant typography, organic shapes, and a restrained visual language, creating a sense of sophistication and serenity. Soft compositions and natural-inspired elements reinforce the idea of a place designed for rest, balance, and quiet luxury. The goal was to craft an identity that communicates Botanique not just as a resort, but as a sanctuary for relaxation and wellbeing. This is a personal creative exploration of how branding can translate tranquility and refined hospitality into a visual system.
