Sun in Aries. The first treats the film as a classical object: serif type, centered hierarchy, restraint that lets the photography lead. The second applies Swiss grotesque and horizontal structure, the credits becoming typographic texture rather than information. Different systems, same photograph. The darkness in the image held up to both.

Found Subjects. Every project here starts with something that already exists — an album, a painting, a philosopher, an idea — and asks what visual system it actually deserves. The sources are deliberately unrelated. A 1790 Dutch painting by Johannes van Dregt. Seneca the Younger. A Berlin electronic music night. A two-part campaign about discomfort. What connects them isn't subject matter but method: find the logic inside the material, build a system around it, and hold that system until it either proves itself or breaks. Sometimes that means Swiss grid and grotesque type. Sometimes it means serif and archive. Sometimes the illustration takes over and the grid has to negotiate. The work doesn't resolve into a single style — that's not the point. The point is that each subject gets a visual language precise enough to be its own.

Heroes & Villians — Swiss Poster Series

Swiss Poster Explorations The starting point for each series was a source problem: what happens when you take material that already has its own visual logic Blossfeldt's botanical photographs, Soviet constructivist geometry, a record label's back catalog and subject it to the strict horizontal and vertical of the Swiss grid? The four series were made without a brief. The Plantstudie posters pair Karl Blossfeldt's 1928 plant studies with the compositional principles of Armin Hofmann, a single block of flat color interrupting the image at a different height each time. The Atlantic Records work asks what the label's identity might look like if it had been designed in Zurich rather than New York. The geometric series works the other direction entirely: pure form, no photography, a palette of rust, ochre, and teal arranged on a grid that becomes increasingly hard to ignore. The halftone work came last, and pushed furthest. Photography as raw material rather than subject. Color as punctuation rather than atmosphere.

AI Academies — High-Ticket Application Funnel A mentorship program selling a $20k/mo AI agency curriculum needed to justify that price point to cold traffic — and a standard sales page wasn't going to do it. I designed the funnel around positioning this as a proven operating system, not another course promising theory: the founder's credibility, an 8-week module breakdown, and real student outcomes, structured as a tight narrative arc so visitors were pre-sold on value before ever reaching the application form. Rather than a standard checkout, the funnel routes qualified leads into an application process instead — filtering for serious operators while reinforcing exclusivity, built to convert cold traffic into applicants ready to invest at a high ticket. Marble Studio — Creative Agency Template A concept built around a simple idea: an agency site should sound as confident as the agency it represents. From the first line, Marble Studio leans into a bold, unapologetic tone — positioning the studio as a partner for brands that refuse to blend in. That attitude is backed with real weight: hard numbers ($256k+ raised through collaborations) and instantly recognizable client names like Starbucks, Nike, and Louis Vuitton, alongside a structured expertise section spanning Brand Identity, Web & UX Design, and Motion & Visual Art. Rather than close on another agency claim, the site ends on direct client testimonials and a clear path to book a call — bookended by the same oversized, confident wordmark treatment in the hero and footer. Modern Desert Gardens — Landscaping Concept Design A concept design built around a specific question: what does a landscaping company site look like when it's designed with the same care as the outdoor spaces it's selling? Built around the character of Palm Springs living — warm sunset tones, cactus silhouettes, desert plantings shot at golden hour — the goal was a site that felt as considered as a high-end landscape design itself, not a generic contractor template. Since landscaping is a significant investment, the design leans on elegant serif headlines, a clear services grid (design, planting, lighting, irrigation, installation), and real client-style testimonials to build confidence before a visitor requests a quote. Every section — from the hero's "Get a Free Quote" CTA through the FAQ and newsletter signup — funnels toward the same goal: turning a homeowner browsing at night into a booked consultation the next morning. Ferra AI — Template for AI Automation Agencies A self-directed exploration built around a specific problem: AI automation feels abstract to non-technical buyers, so how do you make it feel concrete enough to say yes to? Ferra opens by showing the work in motion — a live-feeling stack of integration cards (Framer Form, HubSpot, OpenAI, Slack, Calendly, Gmail) firing in sequence, turning "we build automations" into something a visitor can actually watch happen. Structure does the rest of the trust-building: a clear four-step process from strategy call to launch, six concrete service offerings, and three named use cases so different visitor types immediately see themselves in the offer. Testimonials and tiered pricing (Lite, Core, Elite) give visitors a self-serve way to gauge fit before every section funnels toward the same action: book a call.
