Cover image for My Experience with Contra: No
My Experience with Contra: No Relevant Jobs for Editorial & Print Design I subscribed to Contra Pro hoping to find freelance opportunities in editorial design and print-ready materials, including magazines, catalogs, brochures, and booklets. Unfortunately, I havenโ€™t received any relevant job opportunities in my field. As a professional editorial and print designer, this has been a disappointing experience. My advice to fellow designers: Before investing in a Pro subscription, carefully evaluate whether Contra offers opportunities that match your specific services. Iโ€™m sharing my personal experience to help other freelancers make an informed decision. I hope Contra improves its job-matching system and provides more opportunities for editorial and print design professionals. #Contra #Freelancing #EditorialDesign #PrintDesign #GraphicDesign #FreelanceDesigner

Cover image for Developed a client-commissioned research report
Developed a client-commissioned research report analyzing Kazakhstan's domestic political reforms, with a focus on governance, institutional change, and the country's evolving political environment. The project required rigorous secondary research, source verification, and the synthesis of complex political developments into a clear, evidence-based report. Working collaboratively with the client, I incorporated multiple rounds of revisions to refine the analysis and ensure the final deliverable aligned with their objectives. The completed report demonstrates my expertise in policy research, political analysis, and producing professional reports for clients seeking actionable, well-supported insights.

Cover image for These projects involved writing publication-ready
These projects involved writing publication-ready analytical book reviews of George Orwell's 1984 and Sun Tzu's The Art of War for The Opinion Desk. Rather than providing simple summaries, the reviews explored each work's lasting influence on political philosophy, governance, strategy, and international relations. By combining critical analysis, historical context, and evidence-based writing, I produced engaging articles that connected timeless ideas to contemporary global challenges. The final deliverables showcased my ability to communicate complex concepts with clarity while maintaining an accessible and compelling narrative for readers interested in politics, strategy, and world affairs.
