This is a motion design project we created before generative AI tools really took off. The video presents an auto claims assistance platform, connecting people who had their car damaged with specialists who can help solve the problem. Today, with AI, we can create more ambitious things and explore visual directions that would have been much harder before. But I still really enjoy this kind of full motion project.

While revisiting some old projects, I found this video I created in 2023 for X-Monitor, a management software for solar power plants and photovoltaic energy. The goal was to present a technical platform in a clearer, more visual and easier-to-understand way, using motion design, interface animations and a direct narrative structure. It was an interesting project because it combined technology, renewable energy and design to turn a complex system into a simpler and more accessible product presentation.

This animation was produced in 2020 using a traditional motion design workflow: illustration, character rigging, animation, compositing and editing. At the time, a video like this could take around 4 days to a full week to complete, because every step had to be built almost from scratch. Looking back at this project today, it’s impossible not to think about how much AI has changed the creative process. With today’s tools, a large part of this type of production could be accelerated dramatically, potentially taking less than a day depending on the complexity. More than replacing creative work, AI has opened a new way to produce faster, test ideas, create assets and turn concepts into video with much more agility. It’s interesting to revisit a project from 2020 and realize how much video production has evolved in such a short time.
