A look back at one of the projects I edited in 2013: “Fashion Movies,” a two-part Fashion|One TV segment featuring its Top 10 Most Fashionable Movies of the year. I was provided with the final script and voice-over, and from there, I built the entire visual story. I researched, gathered, and organized all the supporting assets—including movie trailers, interviews, B-roll, red-carpet footage, and other relevant media. I also handled the music selection, master editing, pacing, sound design, sound effects, color correction, color grading, and final delivery. Every visual and editorial decision was carefully made to complement the voice-over and turn the script into an engaging, cohesive story. The completed segment runs for almost 20 minutes and is divided into two parts: • Part 1: Movies ranked from Top 10 to 6 • Part 2: Movies ranked from Top 5 to 1 This project gave me full creative discretion over the master cut, allowing me to shape the storytelling, rhythm, and overall viewing experience based on the provided script and narration. From concept to final render, this was one of the most creatively rewarding projects I’ve worked on. BEHEALTHY is a powdered drink blend featuring 14 superfoods, designed to be mixed with water and enjoyed on the go. To demonstrate the product’s benefits in a fun and memorable way, I developed a 2D animated concept inspired by the nostalgic world of 8-bit Super Mario games. Over three months, I led the art direction and creative direction while supervising my team through every phase of production. I made sure each creative decision stayed true to the original vision and the client loved the final result. I was also hands-on with the master edit, 2D animation, sound design, musical scoring, asset organization, and final rendering. I’m especially proud to say that this project is completely AI-free. Every animation was created manually in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator with the master cut edited in Adobe Premiere Pro. It represents pure creativity, craftsmanship, teamwork, and countless hours of hands-on production. Check it out and let me know what you think! I’m new here on Contra, and I wanted my first post to share something very special to me: my oldest traditional marketing showreel, created back in 2013 long before generative AI and today’s AI-powered editing tools became part of the mainstream creative workflow. This is AI-free, pure hands-on creative work. Every concept, edit, transition, visual treatment, and story was built the traditional way using Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Adobe Premiere Pro. This 2:52 reel was created by conceptualizing and repurposing existing projects, from runway shows and red carpet events to celebrity profiles, Hollywood movie trailers, interviews, and event footage, and transforming them into one cohesive visual story. Looking back, I’m proud of what this represents. Not just the editing, but the creative thinking behind every edit. From concept development and creative direction → storytelling → motion graphics → editing → final delivery, this is the kind of work that shaped my career and continues to influence how I approach projects today. Since I’m new here on Contra, I wanted my first post to introduce not just what I can edit, but how I think as a creative. I’m looking forward to connecting with clients, brands, and creative teams who value experience, storytelling, strategic thinking, and a strong visual point of view. This is where it started.
