Federal Aviation Administration training was functional but dated — limited interactivity, weak accessibility, and inconsistent design. I led the UX redesign, modernizing every module for clarity, consistency, and learner engagement. I created 54 reusable interactions and 22 templates in Articulate Rise & Storyline, developed team job aids, and helped establish the FAA’s visual and interaction standards used by over 150 developers. Outcome: Some of the FAA’s highest-rated training experiences to date.

Paylocity’s internal learning team needed a total overhaul of their 700+ course library — 3 years of content with no taxonomy or update system. I built a tagging hierarchy and database structure to catalog every course, created missing pieces in Articulate Rise, and implemented metadata rules to flag compliance updates automatically. The result was a three-year backlog cleared and a sustainable structure for future growth. Outcome: Streamlined 700+ courses, eliminated redundancy, and created a single source of truth for learning assets.

When Microsoft’s learning innovation team explored how AI could help people upskill faster, I designed a CoPilot-aligned eLearning prototype to show the vision in action. Using Articulate Storyline, Figma, and custom JavaScript, I built a chat-based simulation that mimicked real AI dialogue — branching conversations, interactive media, and learner input fields. The result was an executive-facing prototype polished enough to demo to the Chief Diversity Officer. Focus: AI-integrated UX, Instructional Design, Accessibility Outcome: Delivered a dynamic, conversational learning experience that demonstrated how AI could transform internal training.

Working with Tipping Point Solutions, I developed highly interactive, multilingual training modules for the U.S. government’s Defense Language Institute. I programmed dynamic content in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring accessibility and SCORM compliance in Chinese, Korean, and Spanish. Each course was designed for engagement and cultural accuracy. Outcome: Mission-critical training delivered to international defense learners.

A leadership development program had real bones — great mentors, meaningful coaching, personal storytelling. Learners still weren't finishing it. The problem wasn't the content. It was the connective tissue. Every component had been built independently, with no shared thread linking them together. The mindset assessment learners completed on day one was never referenced again — valuable self-knowledge with nowhere to go. I diagnosed the breakdown, mapped the full learner journey, and repositioned the assessment as the anchor the program had been missing. Then I rebuilt the assessment itself — paper form to interactive digital tool — with automatic scoring, personalized feedback, LMS integration, and guidance for mentors and coaches on how to weave it through every session. Drop-off declined significantly. Learners came in with more self-awareness. Facilitators finally had a shared thread to pull on. The program didn't just get more structured — it got more human. Services: Needs Analysis, Learning Strategy, Interactive Tool Development

A rooster. A mountain road. An attitude. Not Today Clucker is an original apparel concept built around a single image doing all the work — minimal copy, maximum energy. Part motivational poster, part unexplained backstory. Designed for print on demand via Cotton Bureau. No brief. No explanation. That's the point.

A deadpan natural history chart for a subject nobody asked about. Types of Ice is an original illustration concept treating frozen water with the same curatorial gravity as a field guide — dry taxonomy, detailed rendering, completely unnecessary. Designed for print on demand via Cotton Bureau. No client brief. The premise was too specific not to exist.

A fake taco chain that takes itself exactly as seriously as it should. Tiny Hands Taqueria is an original brand concept — logo, type treatment, and illustration — built around a very specific energy: confident, slightly unhinged, and funnier the longer you look at it. Designed for print on demand via Cotton Bureau. No client brief. Just a premise that insisted on becoming a thing.

My favourite personal project, Polyglotopia. I enjoyed creating the banners for the blog, as the branding allowed for a variety of my favourite color combinations!
