Excited to finally share “Raati Chaliye” — a song and music video that came together in a way I really love. 🤍
The song started with a beat that Cypher7 shared with me. I wrote my part, while Saaz wrote his on the same beat. What makes the song special is that Saaz and I had never met or spoken before writing our parts, yet somehow we arrived at a very similar emotional space — similar words, feelings and energy.
Without planning it, we ended up creating something that felt like it was meant to be one song.
Last year, we finally met in Jaipur. Since all of us are based in different cities, getting together to record the song was already a special moment. While we were there, we decided to take the idea one step further and shoot a music video too.
We kept the whole process simple, fun, raw and DIY — pretty much the same spirit in which the song itself was created.
And that's how “Raati Chaliye” came to life.
This project reminded me that sometimes the best creative work doesn't need a complicated process. A good idea, the right people and the freedom to create can be enough.
Would love for you to watch the full video on YouTube and share your thoughts in the comments.
“Raati Chaliye” — out now. 🤍
