This is a short excerpt from a 25-minute documentary exploring touch deprivation and its impact on the human body and mind.
For this project, my focus was on more than just putting footage together. I wanted the edit to feel cinematic, engaging, and emotionally driven while still making complex information easy to understand.
I combined cinematic stock footage, medical visuals, 3D animation, motion graphics, typography, and purposeful pacing to keep the story moving and maintain the viewer’s attention.
Every shot, transition, and visual was chosen to support the narrative rather than distract from it.
This is the kind of documentary editing I enjoy most — turning research and a script into a visual story that feels immersive and meaningful.
