Made a quick loop of the Vitra All Plastic Chair as a mini product-animation exercise and added a touch of coffee shop ambience to the background... it’s amazing how much a simple layer of sound grounds a render and makes a space feel lived-in.

If you're ever feeling stuck for creativity, I suggest looking back at your old work to see what you'd improve. It’s a great way to measure progress without the pressure of starting from scratch. I recently opened up my project archives to do exactly this. What started as a simple modeling exercise evolved into a full lighting and material study. I used this session to refine the metal textures and dial in the studio lighting, all within Blender.

Some of my favorite renders are the ones where I show restraint and don’t overcomplicate things. Simplicity often wins when you’re creating solo. Made in Blender.

I've really enjoyed working with The Kind Mail Club to bring their characters to life! Really love what they're building and great to be a part of the journey! It's been fun doing more character animation! Let me know if Herbert makes you smile :)

Had a random idea pop into my head: What if beauty products bloomed like nature? I jumped into Blender to prototype this dandelion-inspired animation using Geometry Nodes. It’s a fun way to test radial distribution and procedural motion for product visualization. Using The Body Shop's Swipe It balms as the "seeds" created this colorful, exploding sphere effect. Sometimes the best motion concepts come from just playing around with physics and nature.

Generative AI is a great prototyping tool, but it shouldn't be the final stop. I use it to throw raw ideas at the wall and see what sticks. Once I have that spark, I switch to Blender to do it right. This is a clean 3D build based on an initial AI concept.

I'm quite happy with how these animations are coming together. You know you're onto something when you start making yourself want the thing you're modeling 😄

I love finding inspiration in unexpected places! M&S has some great product photography that inspired me to model some cookware in blender
