Retro Windows OS: Single-File Desktop Simulation (https://win95bysamin.netlify.app) I built a retro Windows desktop simulation inside one single HTML file. It starts with a black "Sim" boot screen. Then it opens to a desktop with a working taskbar and Start menu. Everything runs on plain HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript. The OS needs zero sound files and zero external libraries. The OS includes several apps and a game. Users can play a full game of Minesweeper with real and clickable flags. It also has a running Calculator, a Notepad editor, My Computer, Recycle Bin, and Internet Explorer. Clicking Shut Down in the Start menu triggers a Blue Screen of Death(intensionally added as a humor statement). You can open multiple apps at once and drag windows around. Minimizing a window drops it onto the bottom taskbar. All sounds use the Web Audio API. The browser starts with a the booting animation, click sounds, and error beep sound in real time. The styling uses classic gray bevels and navy blue title bars(much like the Real Win95 did). Window dragging had one tricky bug. The iframe swallowed all the mouse events, and the applications UI got stuck. I fixed it by dropping an invisible layer over during drag movements. That kept the mouse tracking perfectly across the whole screen.๐ ๐

AetherOS: Single-File Web OS for AI Agents (https://aetherosbysamin.netlify.app) AetherOS is a web desktop for AI agents. The entire project sits inside a single HTML file. It starts with a boot screen. Then it opens into a dark workspace. The background has black animated particles. Everything runs on plain CSS and vanilla JavaScript. The site loads zero external dependencies and zero sound files. The bottom dock holds seven apps. These tools manage four AI agents: Atlas, Sage, Bolt, and Vega. The Agents app shows them chatting and passing tasks. Files lets you browse a drive. Memory shows a live graph of what the system knows. Users can also modify a history timeline. Studio lets you test prompts. Flows builds node pipelines, and Cost tracks token usage. Every window can be moved, resized, minimized, or maximized. The top menu bar has a model switcher. It routes tasks to Claude Opus 4.7, GPT-5.2, Gemini 3 Pro, DeepSeek V4, or Llama 4. The OS also has Spotlight search, sound toggles, and local API key inputs. The interface uses dark glass panels with blue highlights. Building the node graphs in one single HTML5 file was tough. At first, the physics nodes pushed apart too hard. They floated right off the screen. Dragging extra lines while getting zoomed in also threw off the precise positions. I fixed the center gravity math. Then I divided mouse positions by the zoom factor. That stopped the unnecessary movement and kept the OS stable.๐

Neon Flow: 3D Character Texturing Experiment How neon color maps flow across a human silhouette, built with Three.js I built this 3D animation to test how neon color maps flow across a human body model in real time. The goal was simple: see what happens when you push vibrant textures through a digital silhouette and watch the lighting respond. The result is a short animation where purple and blue neon patterns move across a human figure. The colors shift with the camera angle, so the surface always looks like it is in motion. WHAT I WAS TESTING: I wanted to find out two things: 1. How color transitions work on a 3D character mesh when they move? 2. How lighting interacts with neon textures that are always changing? The animation uses custom shader code to make the colors move across the surface. The neon maps flow instead of sitting still, which gives it that liquid look. THE TECHNICAL SIDE: Everything runs in the browser with Three.js and WebGL. No plugins, no downloads. The code handles vertex and fragment shaders for the flowing neon effect, dynamic lighting that changes with the animation, and smooth camera movement with OrbitControls. I also used SimplexNoise to generate the color patterns that flow across the model. I loaded the human model with GLTFLoader, then applied custom materials with noise-based color transitions. The Orbitron font from Google Fonts gives the text overlay that sci-fi look. TRY IT YOURSELF: (https://<https://jsfiddle.net/Saminsami/dz1p0ws6/1>) The full working example is on JSFiddle. You can change the colors, adjust the speed, or swap out the model to see how the effect changes. WHAT I LEARNED: This project taught me about shader programming and how small changes in color values shift the mood of a 3D scene. The neon effect works because the colors never stop moving. Face Detection: Browser Machine Learning and Biometric HUD (https://codepen.io/saminSalma/pen/ogZwEpp) I built this face detection app to run machine learning models directly in the browser inside a clean interactive UI. Users can upload any photo and get an instant scan. The system draws targeting brackets over the face, maps 68 facial points, estimates age and gender, and shows percentage bars for seven basic emotions. If a photo has more than one person, the app counts them and lets you click through each face to update the readings on screen. Everything runs on the client side using JavaScript and HTML5. The photos stay on the user's computer and never get uploaded to an external server. The model detects the face position, facial points, age, and emotion expression in one pass. If someone uploads a photo without a visible face or any pics of living creatures other than humans, the app handles the error and updates the status message instead of freezing. The ragebaiting part was to format and structure out the data so it felt clean and fast. Putting the emotion stats beside the face box makes it easy to read the numbers while looking at the person. No distractions, no drama... Showing the total face count in the corner also helps users know if the model missed anyone in the photo.๐

Really excited to share my latest fintech pitch deck project! ๐ก I had a great time working on this one โ from crafting a clear investment story to designing visuals that make data easy to understand. Fintech decks are always a fun challenge, and seeing everything come together visually was super rewarding. Canโt wait to share more of my recent design work soon!๐

Whenever I create a pitch deck, my top priority isnโt just aesthetics โ itโs emotion. Yes, the design should look clean and visually appealing, but what truly matters to me is whether it evokes a feeling. I always ask myself: ๐ Does this slide tell the story at a glance? ๐ Can someone look at it for just a second and instantly understand whatโs going on? If the answer is yes โ thatโs what I call real design.
