A client handed us a spreadsheet with 47 features on it. We told them to build 4. They wanted everything their competitor had, plus every "nice to have" a user had ever mentioned. We asked one question: "What's the one thing this needs to do well?" Silence. So we cut it down. 4 features, done properly.
