This logo mark began with research into South African heritage. I kept returning to the country’s flag, especially the green Y-shaped form at its center. I isolated that shape, refined it, and rotated it around a central axis until each piece aligned into one balanced symbol. The result feels warm, natural, and rooted in heritage, while still giving the skincare brand a modern and distinctive identity.

We absolutely loved working on this rebrand for NEPA Lacrosse News, a regional sports media platform covering lacrosse across Northeastern Pennsylvania. The breakthrough came when we realized the state’s iconic keystone could become the foundation for a custom lacrosse mark. Once the two symbols came together, we knew the identity had the potential to be something special. The final system feels unmistakably Pennsylvania while remaining bold, modern, and flexible across digital platforms, apparel, and merchandise. The work went on to receive an award and was selected for inclusion in LogoLounge Book 15, making this one of those projects we will always be proud of.

Ember is starting to feel like a brand with a real point of view. The goal was to create a fintech identity that feels warm, honest, and genuinely helpful, without falling into the usual cold, overly polished finance aesthetic. The system is built around small wins, visible progress, and behavioral nudges that make paying down debt feel more approachable. Soft cream backgrounds, bright orange energy, calm blue support elements, hand-drawn details, and a friendly ember mascot all work together to make the product feel human. Still refining the details, but I’m loving where this direction is headed.

One of my goals as a designer is to rebrand a city someday. So I figured, why not start with a fun self-initiated project for the place where I grew up? After the City of Piqua's previous rebrand attempt received a pretty rough response, I started thinking about what I would do differently. I wanted to explore an identity that felt connected to Piqua's history, but still gave the city room to move forward. The result was a conceptual civic identity built around place, pride and progress. From the water tower and city badge to employee IDs, digital applications and a new message: Forward Starts Here. This was never an official city project. Just a designer asking, "What would I do?" Turns out those are usually my favorite projects to make. Maybe one day I'll get the opportunity to help shape the identity of a city for real. Until then, I'll keep designing toward it.

A little brand work for NAS Cigars, a cigar lounge based in Tampa, Florida. The identity is built around a custom palm and flame mark, bringing together the laid-back energy of Tampa with the ritual and atmosphere of cigar culture. From the primary badge to the NAS monogram, the goal was to create a system that feels warm, elevated, and unmistakably its own. Really enjoyed building this one and seeing how the identity comes to life across the space and physical brand applications.

A little overdue sharing this one here, but four of my logo projects were featured in LogoLounge Book 15. Grip It & Sip It, a golf outing. NEPA Lacrosse News, a Pennsylvania lacrosse news outlet. Bright Logistics LLC, a logistics and shipping company. And COPE, the personal brand for motivational speaker Josh Copeland. I’ll be honest, I submitted quite a few logos and these were some of the last ones I thought would make the book. So seeing all four recognized was a pretty great surprise. Four completely different niches. Four completely different visual problems to solve. Who says you need to stick to one niche? lol Still incredibly grateful to have the work recognized and featured in LogoLounge Book 15.
