L2K Room is a cool project involving ThreeJS and Webflow that I had an opportunity to work with in 2025. Model provided, my job is to bring that model into the site with custom interaction. Again, the hardest aspect of this project is to optimize the scene in Blender before bringing it to the site. Also on page optimization was a big thing. Learnt a lot with this project as my first ever full 3D project.

HELIAD is a Venture Capital Firm based in Frankfurt. Through Hubert and Partners (https://hubert.partners/), I had the chance to design and develop the website. This is a challenging project in terms of design. A branding was already set, and to make something interesting out of the restricted guidelines is always something I feel challenged by. There were multiple layouts and interactions tried. Sometimes, it went too low; other times, it went too high. Balancing is the aspect that takes the most out of the whole project timeline. But in the end, I'm totally satisfied with the result. It checked all requirements and still looks sleek and different.

This was a smooth journey from start to end.

Early 2025, I was approached and helped Berally, a Social Trading platform. Their goal was simple, a quick launch website with 3D approach. Turned out, it was not as simple as it looked like. The model was provided by customer and it was not optimized for the web at all. Almost half the time spent on the project was for cleaning up the model in Blender. At the end, I learnt a lot about setting a requirement for client on choosing their 3D asset.

They wanted a full instagram profile filled with travel photos that made it look like the Alien was visiting popular destinations as a tourist. They didn't ask me to make it twerk, but once I saw my rig with the animations, I had to include it, gratis. It was just too good to pass up.

Was a bit of a new experience doing virtual production for Nvidia and Amazon. Not a whole lot of creative freedom, clients had really specific requirements based on the brief, but it was simultaneously one of the easiest environments I've ever modeled but also one of the most difficult material requirements. We had to figure out a way to get noiseless reflections and refractions in realtime in UE5 with a suitable framerate which was a monumental task. One of the things Aaron and I talked about from day 1 was trying to incorporate the Dark Knight style LED panel fade effect and I designed a custom blueprint that could control all of the lighting dynamically on set. Turns out NDisplay is not compatible with many materials, so huge thanks to Sebastian, the onset technician over at Vossler studios for helping sort that out.

Stone Golem - Fully Custom Metahuman (Metahumanoid) So this was a proof of concept to showcase my custom metahuman pipeline in houdini and just how far you can push it and still achieve great results. 100% custom textures and features while still supporting full metahuman DNA. The geometry and proportions are pushing that metahuman basemesh to its absolute limits, using it for things it was really not designed to do, and the facial animations and control rig still work flawlessly right out of the box even with no nose and spikes. I wanted to show that if you hire me to design a character using this workflow, just how easy it is to animate; and it is. The animations were created for free in less than 10 minutes using quickmagic motion capture, and required minimal cleanup using control rig, mostly to exaggerate the movements.

I finished my first personal website for branding. It's complete free, both Front end and backend. For front end I use Astro for content-rendered site. Which is better than normal framework like Vue.js and React. On backend I use filament admin but only save in local machine. For domain and CI/CD I use vercel app because I find it easy to use and setup. The most worry part is the images, I use Cloudflare R2 which have the platform same as AWS and can be configure in Laravel. Could be easy to use and setup. The only backend handling is send mail to my personal email. I use firebase functions whichs require a credit card but still have free tier. And now I have full functional website which have a high score lighthouse audit. And now for hardest part, marketing and finding potential clients. https://giangvincent.vercel.app/
