Redesigning my web portfolio (https://estiguar.vercel.app) to optimize user retention. 👨‍💻 I just wrapped up a complete restructuring of my personal web portfolio using React, Tailwind, and Vite. The goal wasn’t just a visual facelift, but solving real-world optimization and UX challenges that often get overlooked. Here is a breakdown of what I prioritized during this sprint: * Mobile performance & interactivity: I optimized the tsParticles integration by capping the frame rate at 120 FPS for high-refresh-rate displays and eliminated abrupt edge-bounce calculations. The result? Lower battery consumption and smoother, more natural transitions. * Immersive UI/UX: I implemented a subtle, dynamic spotlight effect that follows the cursor, layered over an ultra-faint technical grid on a dark background. The focus was finding the perfect balance between modern aesthetics and readability. * Modular architecture: I refactored the projects section using asymmetrical layouts and optimized modals. These components break down the engineering behind each build—ranging from AI integrations with Llama 3 to IoT telemetry via MQTT. Rediseñando mi portafolio web para optimizar la retención de usuarios. 👨‍💻 Acabo de terminar la reestructuración completa de mi portafolio web (https://estiguar.vercel.app) personal utilizando React, Tailwind y Vite. El objetivo no era solo actualizar el diseño visual, sino resolver problemas reales de optimización y experiencia de usuario que suelen pasarse por alto. Aquí un resumen de lo que prioricé en este sprint: * Rendimiento e interactividad móvil: Optimicé la integración de tsParticles limitando los FPS a 120 para pantallas de alta tasa de refresco y eliminé cálculos bruscos de rebote en los bordes. Menos consumo de batería, transiciones más naturales. * UI/UX inmersiva: Implementé un efecto dinámico de spotlight sutil que sigue al cursor y una cuadrícula técnica ultra-tenue sobre un fondo oscuro, buscando un balance entre estética moderna y legibilidad. * Arquitectura modular: Refactoricé la sección de proyectos con layouts asimétricos y modales optimizados que explican detalladamente la arquitectura de cada desarrollo (como integraciones de IA con Llama 3 o telemetría IoT mediante MQTT). By optimizing resources and responsive design, I managed to make the site look and function more smoothly on all types of devices. In addition, I adjusted the content and structure to focus on what really matters: highlighting my skills in Full-Stack, AI, and automation. I also did a complete review of SEO tags, such as meta descriptions, titles, and the use of relevant keywords to improve organic positioning. The result is a clearer, faster, and more optimized portfolio that better reflects what I do and how I can help solve real problems.
