Video Editing Projects in BlumenauVideo Editing Projects in BlumenauPapelino is a children’s IP created for long-form YouTube episodes, with the goal of inspiring imagination, creativity and hands-on building.
The idea came from a very personal place: my son. He has always loved creating amazing things out of cardboard. For him, building is often just as important as playing. That is the moment where he imagines, invents worlds and turns simple objects into big adventures.
That inspiration became Papelino: a character who transforms cardboard boxes and everyday objects into toys, missions and imaginary worlds.
More than entertainment, Papelino carries an important message: children don’t need to only consume ready-made toys. They can also imagine, build, create and bring their own ideas to life.
In this project, we used AI video as part of the production process to create long-form episodes with children’s storytelling, consistent characters and a visual universe made of cardboard.
Papelino is about creativity, play and imagination, showing that a simple box can become anything when a child believes in their own idea. This video was created at a very specific moment: Veo 3 had just been released.
The client only had a few photos of the shoe. From those images, we decided to run a more experimental test and see how far we could push them using AI.
At the time, the result already felt very new.
Looking back at it now, what’s interesting is realizing how fast everything has evolved. What started as an experiment to turn product photos into a video is now just a small part of the process.
Today, we’re already producing almost 10-minute episodes for a children’s series, with recurring characters, visual continuity and narrative structure.
It’s a little scary, but also very exciting, to see how quickly these tools are changing the way we produce video.
This project represents that early stage very well: a few assets, a clear idea, a new tool and the willingness to test what was possible.
