Project: FANGTASM Vol.2 — Underground Event Cinematic & Video Poster Client/Venue: ://about blank (Berlin) Overview: A 46-second full-pipeline 3D motion design teaser and vertical video poster (1080x1920, 60 FPS) built for an underground dark techno event. Moving away from flat 2D promos, the project delivers a gritty industrial dark sci-fi aesthetic featuring a transformable brutalist cube with complex mechanics. Pipeline & Technical Breakdown: 3D Modeling & Environment: Hard-surface modeling in Cinema 4D (heavy blast doors, rotating multi-gear assemblies, hydraulic valves, copper busbars, and multi-segmented Tesla coils). Shading & Texturing: Advanced Redshift node networks with procedural weathering, realistic rust, weathered iron, wet cracked asphalt, and TriPlanar concrete mapping. Python Automation: Custom Python scripts driving procedural high-voltage electrical arcs (lightning), cascading breakdowns, and precise light-flash sync. Lighting & Rendering: Multi-layered Redshift GPU setup with volumetric fog, skimming/rim lighting, and hardware ray tracing. Compositing & Sound: Cryptomatte multi-pass compositing in After Effects with custom grading, motion blur, and a synchronized industrial soundscape (metal impacts, machinery screeches, and Tesla discharges). Tech Stack: Maxon Cinema 4D, Maxon Redshift, Python, Adobe After Effects.
