Projects in BarodaProjects in BarodaTaskRelay — AI-Powered Work Continuity
I designed TaskRelay to solve a common team problem: when someone becomes unavailable, their work context often disappears with them.
Existing tools already manage tasks and projects, but they can still struggle with work context, skill matching, team capacity, alert overload, and smooth handoffs.
So instead of building another project-management tool, I explored a Work Continuity Layer that helps teams understand what’s affected, find the right backup, prevent overload, and take over with minimal friction.
The project includes Automatic Work Context, SkillMatch, Capacity Guard, Smart Alerts, Auto Backup Plans, Risk Radar, Take Over, and Relay AI — all designed around one simple idea:
When someone goes offline, the work doesn’t.
Designed by Arif Khan.

A modern UX/UI redesign concept inspired by Craigslist—reimagined with AI-powered search, trust-first interactions, and a premium user experience. Built as an independent product design case study to explore how local marketplaces can feel faster, safer, and more intuitive.
📌 Project Note
Independent Concept Project
This is an independent concept project created for educational and portfolio purposes.
It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or commissioned by Craigslist or any other company.
The goal was to explore how a modern AI-powered marketplace could improve trust, usability, accessibility, and the overall user experience while respecting the original product category.

Designed with curiosity, crafted with precision, and built for real-world user experiences. William the Hippo Reborn: Transforming Ancient Egyptian Artifact into a Hyper-Realistic Eco-Architectural Landmark (2026)
Overview:
For the #Flora Museum Challenge on Contra (2026), I have reimagined The Met Museum’s most famous mascot: the 4,000-year-old Egyptian Blue Faience Hippopotamus (William). This project scales this flat-clay historical icon into a monumental, buildable contemporary pavilion, transforming an ancient object into smart civic infrastructure.
Design Realism & Active Sustainability:
The Architecture: The massive pavilion perfectly mimics the biomorphic contour of the original hippo using premium turquoise-glazed porcelain panels and solar glass windows.
Eco-Innovation: The ancient lotus drawings from the original artifact are engineered into active photovoltaic solar tiles and rooftop gardens, making the facility completely self-powered and energy-efficient.
Global Tourist Magnet & Revenue Streams (ROI):
This pavilion is engineered as a highly profitable cultural landmark with multiple continuous income sources:
Tourism & Ticketing: Premium entry tickets for global tourists visiting this live structural icon.
Exclusive Merchandise: A massive on-site flagship Met store selling exclusive 'William the Hippo' souvenirs, toys, and apparel.
Event Hosting: The massive internal belly atrium serves as a premium, high-rent venue for international art exhibitions, fashion shows, and corporate events.
Operational Savings: The integrated lotus solar roof generates 100% of its own clean energy, saving millions in long-term maintenance costs.
Engineering Feasibility & Challenges:
While the highly curved, biomorphic structure presents real-world construction and cleaning challenges, these complexities are precisely what makes it groundbreaking. By leveraging modern 3D structural engineering, automated modular glass fitting, and automated robotic maintenance systems, every architectural challenge is fully resolved, making this futuristic monument 100% viable for real-world construction.
