ORBIT — Interactive Hero Concept What happens when a landing page feels more like a visual experience than a website? I designed and built this Orbit hero experience with a focus on: → Editorial-inspired typography → Minimal monochrome + soft pink visual system → Pixel-art / halftone floral direction → Choreographed entrance animations → Organic mouse-driven morph reveal → Responsive mobile navigation → Zero-scroll, full-viewport composition The interaction is the detail I’m most excited about — moving your cursor creates a fluid, morphing trail that reveals a second visual layer underneath the flower. Built with HTML, CSS & JavaScript, with the visual assets generated using AI. The goal: make the first screen memorable before the user even starts scrolling. Shipped this one today — a full-viewport figurine carousel hero for a concept called "TOONHUB" 🧸 The interaction is the whole point: 🎨 Background color cross-fades with every click — no two clicks feel the same 🔄 A role-based carousel (center / left / right / back) — one click rotates all 4 positions, scales, and blur levels at once, synced on a single 650ms cubic-bezier curve 🔤 Giant ghost typography sitting behind the figures — the character overlaps the huge "3D SHAPE" text instead of sitting on top of it 🎞️ A subtle film-grain overlay running across the whole viewport for texture, not flatness ⚡ All 4 character images preloaded on mount so switching feels instant, zero pop-in It's a small interaction, but getting the timing right — color, scale, blur, and position all landing together — is where the "feel" actually comes from. Tested one of MotionSites' premium prompts — the "3D Jack Portfolio" — end to end in Lovable, and it's one of the cleanest prompt-to-production builds I've shipped 🎬 What's actually running under the hood: 🧲 A magnetic-hover 3D portrait that tracks the cursor in real time 🎞️ A dual-row image marquee — each row scrolls opposite directions, driven by scroll position, not autoplay ✍️ Scroll-triggered, character-by-character text reveal in the About section 📌 A sticky, stacking Projects section — each card scales down 3% as the next one slides over it 🌓 Rounded "peel" transitions between dark and light sections No custom CSS wrangling, no manual animation timelines — just a well-engineered prompt paired with Lovable's build loop.
