Fixing the front door of a growing Medspa For the Lovable Challenge, I built Cora Aesthetics, a guided patient experience designed to take someone from initial interest to a confirmed booking, while reducing the work happening behind the scenes. I chose this problem because it’s close to the work I already do. I’ve worked with medspas on their patient acquisition journeys and optimizing the experience for higher conversion rates. One thing I’ve learned is that for a small, growing practice, the problem isn’t always getting attention, it’s everything that happens between “I’m interested” and “I’m booked.” Meet Maya Maya runs Cora Aesthetics, a growing two-person medspa in Tampa, Florida. It's really just her and a part-time injector who she recently hired. She’s treating patients, but she’s also answering DMs, explaining treatments, managing bookings, dealing with cancellations/no-shows and following up with prospective patients. Every little task is manageable on its own. Together, they take up a lot of time and mental space. She just can't keep up. Maya has considered using a chatbot, but it doesn't feel right for her brand. Hiring someone to manage the front desk feels premature for a two-person practice. So she's stuck somewhere in the middle. On the other side is Emma. She’s interested in aesthetic treatments, but she doesn’t necessarily know what she needs. She's never done this before. Emma wants natural-looking results, has questions and wants to feel confident in her decision before committing. Maya needs less back-and-forth. Emma needs more guidance. That became the problem I wanted Cora to solve. The idea: fix the front door Rather than adding too many fancy features or visuals for the sake of it, I wanted to build something that would actually work in the real world. Emma enters a short guided consultation where Cora learns what she cares about, where she wants help and what matters to her. Her answers aren't just collected and forgotten. They shape the experience that follows. Cora recommends a treatment, explains why it fits what Emma told us, addresses the concerns that actually matter to her, introduces Maya, gives her transparent information about pricing and what to expect, and then lets her choose an appointment and secure it with a deposit. If she isn't ready, she can still talk to Maya. The goal was never to pressure Emma into booking. It was to make her feel understood, informed and confident enough to make her decision. This is how you convert interested leads into real, possibly long-term customers. And if we do that well, Maya gets something equally valuable: fewer repetitive conversations, less booking friction, greater commitment from patients and more time to actually care for them. Cora closes the gap between what Emma needs and what Maya has time to provide. Building it with Lovable This was my first project with Lovable, I had never built an experience just using an AI tool before. So there was definitely an adjustment period. Initially, I wasted time overthinking my prompts, analyzing each build too closely, and not feeling entirely in control of the process. The process first clicked when I started using Chat mode to think through bigger decisions first, discussing the problem, exploring possible approaches, deciding what we actually wanted to change, and then building. I also noticed at times the Chat mode was free, and I made the most of it to brainstorm ideas and figure out why something wasn't coming out just right. That became my favorite part of the experience: Brainstorm → build → see it take shape in real time → react → refine → repeat. Over roughly four days, Cora went from a prompt and a rough first screen to a working end-to-end patient journey. There were plenty of imperfect iterations along the way. I wanted to include these in the video but couldn't find a good place for them. Instead i'll attach some of the more imperfect examples. I'm quite happy with the end product. The finished experience isn't about replacing the work Maya does, It’s about letting technology handle parts of her work that were causing her pain, wasting time and even costing her business. I wanted to do all that without losing the warmth, guidance and personal care that made someone choose a small practice like Cora in the first place. And I actually had a lot of fun making it. Grateful for the opportunity to experiment with Lovable, try something new, and learn something new along the way. Built with Lovable. 💚

I've joined the Lovable Challenge! For my project i'm designing the “front door” of a small medspa. The core idea: Maya runs a small two-person clinic. She’s great with patients, gives them a lot of personal attention. Patients love her. But every new lead means treatment questions, addressing concerns, back-and-forth DMs, scheduling, deposits, cancelling and no-shows. It's a lot! So I’m designing a better path from “I’m interested” → “I’m booked.” A visual consultation that understands what a patient wants, recommends the right treatment, builds trust, and takes them straight into booking. All while keeping Maya available to do her best work with every new patient. Here’s the first screen ↓
