Colors look better to me in Option 2, and bg still has some dark-light contrast without being too much, the contrast in Option 1 looks a little harsh in my opinion, still a good bg for sure but if I go with it, I'd soften it!

The Booklet Mockup on the left is the winner for me. 🔥 It feels much more tangible and 'real-world.' The style guide is great for showing the technical system; the mockup tells a story of how the brand actually lives and breathes. 😍
