The Day I Stopped Waiting
For a long time, I believed I needed the perfect moment before I could start.
I thought I needed more knowledge.
More confidence.
More experience.
More certainty.
So I waited.
And while I was waiting, I watched other people move forward.
Some started businesses.
Some learned new skills.
Some took chances that I was too afraid to take.
The strange thing is that none of them seemed completely ready either.
They just started.
One day, I came across a simple quote:
"You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great."
That sentence stayed with me.
I realized that waiting wasn't protecting me from failure.
It was protecting me from growth.
The truth is, most opportunities don't arrive when we're ready.
They arrive when we're willing.
Willing to learn.
Willing to make mistakes.
Willing to look inexperienced for a while.
Since then, I've stopped asking myself whether I'm ready.
Instead, I ask myself a different question:
"What can I do today?"
Sometimes the answer is small.
Write one page.
Learn one lesson.
Send one proposal.
Publish one post.
Reach out to one person.
Small actions don't look impressive in the moment.
But over time, they change everything.
Looking back, the biggest opportunities in my life didn't come from waiting for the perfect time.
They came from taking imperfect action.

You don't need to have everything figured out.
You don't need permission.
You don't need a perfect plan.
You just need to begin.
A year from now, you'll either wish you had started today or be grateful that you did.
