Studio Noor Bridal Update: from "is my date free?" → "you're booked" 💍
Studio Noor turns a flood of "is my date free?" DMs into confirmed, advance-paid bridal bookings, with an AI assistant that speaks Roman Urdu, a 3D view of the whole wedding season, and self-expiring holds so no bride ever ghosts a peak date again.
Booking a bridal artist in Lahore shouldn't take 25 WhatsApp messages and a week of "I'll send the advance tomorrow."
Meet Studio Noor Bridal, a fictional bridal makeup studio in Gulberg III, Lahore. Owner Ayesha Noor and her two junior artists handle three-event weddings (Mehndi → Barat → Walima) in peak season, where 80% of DMs ask "is my date free?" and ghosted date-holds cost her real bookings.
✦ WHAT I BUILT IN LOVABLE
👰 For brides
→ Noor, AI booking assistant: speaks English, Urdu and Roman Urdu ("Barat 19 Dec ko free hai?") → checks live availability → prices the package in PKR → hands off to a pre-filled booking link. Rich cards, never invents a date or price, never reveals another client's details
→ The Season at a Glance (3D, three.js): every day is a pillar sized by how booked it is → spin it → tap a day → see who's free → hold it
→ Your Wedding Day, Worked Backwards: event start time → call time → full day timeline
→ The Looks, Meet the Artists, Brides of Studio Noor: 3D tilt cards, flip cards and a depth carousel
→ Instant multi-event date check with real capacity per artist (Ayesha 1 bride/day, Hira and Sana 2 each)
→ Package builder in PKR with automatic chair time (makeup + party makeup + travel + photoshoot)
💼 For the studio
→ 24-hour holds → expire on their own → go straight to the next bride on the waitlist with a private 12-hour link
→ Advance screenshot (JazzCash / Easypaisa / bank) → one-tap approval → trial, skin-prep and call-time reminders scheduled automatically
→ AI inbox: reads DMs in English, Urdu and Roman Urdu → drafts a reply with a pre-filled booking link
→ Owner dashboard: payments, holds, calendar, day sheets, reminders + a demo "time machine" to watch automations run live

CLIENT BRIEF: STUDIO NOOR BRIDAL
📍 Business → Studio Noor Bridal, a bridal makeup studio
📍 Location → Main Boulevard, Gulberg III, Lahore, Pakistan
📍 Owner → Ayesha Noor, signature bridal artist, with two junior artists (Hira and Sana)
📍 Season → Lahore wedding peak, November to February
⚠️ THE PROBLEM
During wedding season Ayesha's phone is flooded with Instagram and WhatsApp messages, and she can't reply while she's mid-makeup. Every booking takes around 25 messages, and the worst bookings never happen at all: brides ask her to hold a peak date, promise to send the advance "tomorrow", then disappear.
🧩 QUIRKS
→ ~80% of DMs ask the same two things: "Is my date free?" and "How much?"
→ "Hold my date, advance kal bhej dungi" → silence for a week → other brides turned away → date ends up empty
→ 50% advance arrives as JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank screenshots → matched by hand, late at night
→ One wedding = three events (Mehndi, Barat, Walima) on different days, often at different venues
→ Chair time worked backwards from the event: makeup + party makeup for sisters + travel + photoshoot buffer
→ Uneven capacity: Ayesha takes 1 bride a day; each junior artist takes 2
→ Trial, skin-prep and "come with washed hair" reminders → sent manually, often forgotten

SoHo — from first inquiry to confirmed session
SoHo is a boutique photography studio in New York, offering private portraits, editorial shoots, and handcrafted photo albums. Its small team has to manage booking requests, session details, discounts, and customer photos while preparing for shoots.
I built SoHo in Lovable to bring that work into one connected experience.
Clients can choose a session, request a date and time, and track their booking status from their account. The studio can review requests, set approval rules, and see AI-assisted equipment suggestions for each shoot. Discounts become available at the right stage of the booking journey.
For custom albums, clients select a cover and place their photos into a digital version of the physical album box. The studio can manage the order and download all submitted photos as one ZIP file.
The goal was simple: help a small studio spend less time coordinating messages and files, and more time making the work its clients came for.

"Can I book with you?" shouldn't take 15 messages to answer. But for one business owner, it did, every single time.
He runs a home-help business in PAKISTAN (Islamabad & Rawalpindi), moving crews, with no real system. Every inquiry came in as a vague message. He'd read it, figure out what was needed, check who's free, negotiate a time, confirm, and follow up manually every time. Evenings and weekends were chaos. No-shows cost him. He is a team of one, juggling everyone.
So I rebuilt his booking process as ● MADAD, Urdu for "help."
Customers don't pick a category, they just describe the problem: "Want to move home furniture from DHA phase 2 to Bahria" MADAD understands it, matches a crew, and books it—no back-and-forth. The owner isn't coordinating anymore. He's just informed.
From "Can I book with you?" to "You're booked" with almost nothing left for him to manually do.

➡️Added the ADMIN side for judges to view what minimum actions the admin could take. He will just change status; the customer has nothing to do with the admin side.

One of the most thoughtful and practical concept I've seen this far.... it truly deserves appreciation and recognition
A self-initiated product: a booking and ordering system for a billiard club in Tbilisi. I designed it in Figma from scratch and built all of it, from the interface to the database.
Guests call the club and nobody answers. They arrive and every table is taken. They want food and wait at the bar. Side Pocket moves all of that to the website.
Key decisions
No guest accounts. A booking needs a name and a phone number. The guest gets a private link to move, extend or cancel. The link is the account.
A 15-minute hold. Guests check in with "I'm at the table." A table nobody claims goes to the waitlist, and the next person gets the same 15 minutes.
Ordering tied to the table. Guests order from their phone during the game, add time themselves and see the bill as it grows.
One screen for staff. Every table's state for the night, late arrivals and orders to serve pinned to the top, bookings and orders boards, alerts in Telegram.
A Telegram bot. It understands "table for 4 tonight at 8" in English or Russian and finishes the booking with buttons.
Scope
Guest site with live availability, single and group booking, waitlist, private booking page, table page with menu, cart and bill, email confirmations and reminders, staff dashboard, Telegram bot.
Stack
React 19, TanStack Start, TanStack Router and Query, Tailwind 4, Radix UI, Supabase Postgres with row-level security, pg_cron, Brevo and Resend, Telegram Bot API, Vitest.
Business rules sit in plain functions, separate from the UI and the database, with 73 tests. Only server functions touch the database.
