I built an e-commerce site for a client who specializes in handcrafted mezuzahs - without touching their product catalog.
They had years of inventory in WooCommerce. Instead of migrating everything, I built a Next.js frontend that connects to their existing backend via API.
They manage products the same way. Customers see a completely different experience.
Design-wise, I went minimal and premium. Lots of white space, restrained palette. These are handcrafted religious items - the site needed to feel reverent, not busy.
Pretty happy with how this one turned out.

This is a great example of decoupling for vibe. Same backend, same ops, totally different perception. Curious if you saw any lift in AOV once the site started feeling more like heirlooms than generic home decor
