AstroCat – Full Game Design & Development AstroCat is a free-to-play indie space shooter that combines arcade-style gameplay with endless runner mechanics. I led the entire design process — from concept to final launch — including user research, 3D modeling, animation, UI design, and marketing visuals.
My goal was to create a game that feels instantly intuitive and fun for players of all ages. Through early user research and gameplay testing, I identified ways to simplify the controls, streamline the interface, and enhance visual feedback.
The characters and environments were modeled and animated in 3D to balance approachability and challenge, while the UI and typography draw inspiration from nostalgic sci-fi and retro arcade design.
