Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of working on a logo animation/intro for the Crypto.NL podcast.
Here's what it does:
Brands every episode instantly—people know it's crypto.nl before anyone speaks.
Gives the host 3–5 seconds to settle in while viewers get oriented.
Makes clips shareable—that intro on a 30-second snippet screams professionalism.
Separates them from the thousand other crypto podcasts with static title cards. People saying “just get to the content” don't understand podcast psychology. Viewers want that moment of anticipation. It signals the show is about to start and sets the stage for what's about to come.
What do you think, are show openers still worth it in 2025?
