When Effort Meets Unfair Judgment 🚫
Recently, I completed a frontend test task after three rounds of interviews. They gave me four hours to build the entire frontend from scratch. I gave it my best — clean code, responsive UI, and well-structured components.
However, I was later rejected because I used AI-generated comments above my functions. The irony? The functionality, logic, and structure were 100% written and implemented by me.
I believe tools like AI should assist productivity, not discredit talent. Comments are documentation — they enhance clarity, not define capability.
If you’ve faced something similar, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Let’s normalize using modern tools ethically and transparently, not punish developers for working smarter.
